The DT Laboratory Coater is a small, versatile and efficient laboratory coater. Especially developed for pigment coating, film transfer pigment coating and surface sizing of paper and board. The machine has three coating units that represent the most used coating processes in the industry.

Due to the space requirements of the Laboratory Coater it can be used in a regular laboratory environment.
One unique feature of the DT LCD is that it's possible to coat sheets as well as web. The Coater has a sheet width of up to 300 mm and a maximum web width of 300 mm, where the coated width is 265 mm. The maximum roll diameter has been designed to be approx. 500 mm. The building materials of the DT Laboratory Coater are mainly stainless steel and aluminium.
Technical Specification
The coater is designed for both sheet and web coating. Backing / filmtransfer roll and backing roll have a stainless steel frame with rubber coating. The coater utilizes an applicator roll for the transfer of the coating substance to the material surface.
