Hercules DV-10 Options/Upgrades
 8800 RPM UpgradeThe upgrade boosts the shear rate of the DV‐10 an additional 33%. Includes: 1 F2.5 Bob; and Modification to viscometer and software. |  Heater UnitA jacketed electric heater is placed over and around the cup and bob assembly. This is a stand‐alone unit, which does not currently interface with the software or DV‐10 viscometer. The controller utilizes PID (Proportional‐Integral‐Derivative), which enables the unit to suppress overshoot, and allows the process warm up to be tuned independently from the steady‐state operating conditions. (Recommended operating range: 50° to 150°C ±1°C) |  IR Temperature SensorThe IR temperature probe looks through a window mounted in the cup and measures the temperature of the sample throughout the test period. Temperature data is collected and stored for each file displayed graphically or in text. It automatically records starting temperature and allows you to evaluate changes in temperature as a function of shear rate and viscosity. Data can be plotted against all nine other calculated outputs. For use with the “A” and “E” Bobs only. |
